Chile ~week 85

Thanksgiving, Hatians, French, Interviews, What else?
This week has been great, ive got another voice message for you guys.. weve been learning a bit of french here, a tiny bit, not toomuch, its hard.. but weve been enjoying it here, Happy thanksgiving to you all.. i hape you all had a great week!!

Chile ~week 84

So here in the south, its been getting hot, then cold, then hot then cold.. over and over... this week it was in the middle, it was hot with a cold breeze... but its getting hotter here, so were getting closer to christmas.. and were about the use the new "ilumina el mundo" cards for the new christmas campaign here!! wwere getting excited!!

But as always.. we had a great week:

Tuesday: we got a bit of rain, but not too much happened, we visited olga for a bit, same with alison, and in the night we visited a less active... ELba is her name... but not too much happened..

Wednesday: we decided to go visit a place a little further from our normal area, but is still within our boundaries.. which is called Tolten, its a small little town, we went to work for the day there... it went pretty good, we found one person, and were gonna be going back soon to meet her family..

Thursday: not much happened this day either, we had weekly planning, then lunch, then we went and visited Olga agani, shes going through a hard time, her brother in law is in the hospital, and isnt very well, so were trying to help her and her family out in these hard times...

Friday: we had district meeting, then went on an intercambio... i was with Elder Rodrigues, who actually finishes the misison with me... he is from brazil, from sao paulo.. hes my zone leader, so i live with him.. we had a pretty good day, we visited some of their investigators and we taught them...

Saturday: we went and finally found alison in her house.. we taught her a bit, then left and found a less active who had changed churches cause the members stopped visiting him, so we talked to him a bit, but hes kinda old and doesnt understand much...

Sunday: we had church, and turned out none of our investigators showed up, even when they told us they would.. but thats okay, were gonna teach them still and hpe they come next week... we went contacting in the afternoon and we found a guy, he doesnt want to commit himself to anything yet, but well be working on that...

Today: so this morning we watched the youth, singles ward face to face with Ballard and Oaks, it was really good.. i liked it a lot...

Chile ~week 83

so this week has been a great one!!! we have had transfersonce again, Elder Echegaray has left, and Elder Duke got here.. and with the transfers of the weather, it has been HOT this week... out of nowhere... but thats okay...at least its not raining!!!

but here i have a voice message for you guys again!!! :)

Chile ~week 82

Okay so mi have another voice message to send this week!!! and ill be sending it here, but for this week we will be having transfers, my new companion will be Elder Duke, ive never met him, i heard hes kinda weird, so im excited!!! but ill let you know how it goes next week!!!

Chile ~week 81

so.. apparently we were starting summer, but were not sure cause its still raining a lot and its cold, so were a bit confused, at this time last year it was hot already...

but as always, this week was a good one!!

Tuesday: we had district meeting, i gave another class, i like giving classes now.. afterwards we had a GranIntercambio, i was with Elder Ziemer from Alaska, which was cool. 

Wednesday: we had a multizone conference, so i got to see a lot of my old misison friends again!! but it was really long, we got home at ngiht to go right to book of mormon classes, then home..

Thursday: in the morning we had a service in Gorbea, then in the afternoon was crazy, we contacted a few old investigators, some curent investigators, some werent home, and finally at night we had mission corelation.

Firiday: we had another service in the morning, which i will send pictures of, where we helped an hermana make a garden.. then that night we had a family night with one of our investigators, Olga,  and her less active daughter, it was good..

Saturday: we were running all arounf the place, later in the day we went to Gorbea again, because we had a capilla abierta, where we do a tour of the church, it turned out pretty god to have been raining the whole time.

Sunday: ot much happened, we had our branches primary program.. 

sorry the letter today is a bit short, this keyboard is not very good...

Chile ~week 80

this week has been a pretty interesting one..  we have gotten soaked.. then the sun comes out, then we get soaked, and the sun comes out.. thats how it is down here in the south i guess...

but once again we have had a great week!!!

Heres my week:

Tuesday:we had our meetig in the morning, i had to give another class.. which was good.. we went to lunch, then we had to go but bus tickets to travel to los angeles.. ill talk about that later... then in the afternoon we went to work in the area book and find some old investigators..

Wednesday: we woke up, studies, luinch, the same routine, then we ended up walking to a part of my area that is pretty far away, like 40 mins, that i didt even know existed before.. but its cause theres a family there that has a daughter who is 9 whos isnt baptized, and really wants to get baptized!! so thats exciting!

Thursday: we woke up early in the morning to travel to temuco, so we could travel to los angeles... the reasonw e went was cause i started my visa again, it was all about to be finished up, then they transferred me.. so my chilean id was stuck in los angeles.. so.. the president gave us permisison to go to los angleses and pick up my id.. but while there we went and got lunch, we ate with hermana marilyn from my last area.. and wow... she gave us a HUGE ñunch, we left very full!!! but was good!! after we hurried to the bus terminal to travel home, we had another 4 hours in bus to get back all the way here.. just in time for correlation meeting that night!! was a fast, long, boring day, with lots of traveling... 

Friday: we went to an appointment we had with a less active member, she had her grandson and her friend there.. so we taught them a little bit, which was cool! then we went around visiting some of the investigators we have.. 

Saturday: not much happened... that night we had a ward activity, sadly none of our investiagators came, but waas still a fun actvity!

Sunday: we had church, the branch president asked me to speak on friday, so i got a talk ready, and they didnt even call me!! hahaha but now i have one for the next time!! hahaha then in the afternoon we had an attack in loncoche... we found a guy who served as a misisonary in chicago 15 years ago.. approximately the time we lived there... but the crazy thing was he told us hes inactive and ateo now, he told us a lot of the reasons why... some of the things made me think... could it be true? but then i remembered i need ot think of the testimony i already have, so i just started ignoring the things he said.. but was still an interesting experience, its fun to talk to people like that, cause afterwards i fele my testimony grew..

Today: this morning we got soaked cause we were playing soccer in the rian, which was fun!!

well thats my fun week this week!!!

Well this week has been a good one once again, i have another voice message so i dont have another repeat of what i had last week.. but its geed being a giant here in the south... my companion seems to like it aswell.. so were getting along great! haha
