Chile ~week 59

so... this week was a great one... its been lots of fun here, training and opening a new area...

Heres my week:

Tuesday: we had our cambios, i waited for ever, then our bus came to go to the office... we had a little training on how to be a trainer, then they put us together... i am training an elder named Elder Mende, from Bakersfield California... hes pretty cool... then we traveled to our new area, and ended the night with misison correlation..

Wednesday: we started to unpack a bit.. then we had to go to district meeting, we had lunch, then studies, bought for the week, then did divisions so we could et to know the sector a bit... so i went with elder Ramos, who we live with, so he could show me around a bit..

Thursday: so this day we had an interesting experience, we were doing the 12 weeks trainng in the morning, preparing elder mende to invite someone to be baptized.. so as we were contacting that night there was a girl that let us in.. we didnt have a restoration pamphlet, so we taught the plan of salvation, which im a little out of practice with that one.. so i taught it kind of rough, then to try to end it i bore my testimony then looked at my companion to bear his testimony. and he looks at me then looks at her and tells her "as the lord answers your prayers, and you know our message is true, will you be baptized?". and that shocked me! i was so scared, haha i didnt know what to do... but she answered us and said yes! hahahha so that was a lot of fun, and i had to try and recover the situation and explain it all to her..

Friday: we didnt do much, we contacted, found a few futures, then found a member family, then we had to go teach english classes..

Saturay: we had a service in the morning, then we contacted again all day...

Sunday: we had stake conference, then afterwards we had lunch, we had lunch with an hermana that LOVES missionaries! so she gave us a HUGE lunch!!! haha, then we went to visit that girl we put that baptismal date with, but the appointment fell... so we started to contact..

Today: just something exciting that happened today, we had another little earthquake here!!! it was cool!! i havent felt one in awhile!!
