Chile ~week 72

This week we had a great week once again... lots of rain weve been getting here... so it been pretty cooollddd... butthey say wee ending winter and we should be in summer here soon!! soo.. that makes us excited!!

Well heres my week!

Tuesday: we started the day with studies, then we headed over to lunch, we had to make our progress record, then we decided to leave with one of the ward missionaries, and we visited a few people, but they werent home or didnt have time... then that night we were able to teach marcela and jose, jose seemed to start remembering a lot, and he liked that we taught him... that was realy cool!!

Wednesday: we had district meeting, then we went over to lunch again, then in the afternoon we visited a few part member families... 

Thursday: we had weekly planing then in the afternoon we visited a member family, then we had an appointment fall, so we went and visited one of our references...

Friday: we had a pretty rainy day, almost everyday this week was rainy... but something especially funny happened this ay.. it was night and we were walking in this muddy field to go to a different part of our area, and there was a little hill.. my companion says "we gotta take this one slow" so he takes like 2 steps, slips and fals and gets al muddy.. you al know me, so imagine what i did.. laughed for a good few minutes, which didnt make him very happy and apologized to him.. but it was jsut so funny!!

Saurday: we had english classes in the morning, all of our appointments fall, so we went and visited Deibit and his faily again, theyre doing great!

Sunday: we had church, then we went to an hermana who is famous for huge lunches!! so she filled us up!!!but it was gooodd!!! then that night we had a lesson with Jaime and Jimena, jimena wasnt there, and we brougth a member with us, a good friend of jaime.. the member ended up taking control of the lesson and talked for awhile.. but in the end turned out great.. jaime seems to be progressing more now..

But thats my week this week...

CAUTION WITH THE PICS!!!!

it was pretty rainy all week, even the cats got used to it, so we saw some of them taking a nap in a puddle.. haha just kidding, but just so you can see in what kind of place im at right now.. 

Chile ~week 71

So this week was a good one, as always, we had ward conference this week, so ill send pics of our activity we had. for ward conference here they had an ativity tuesday, wedd, thurs, and friday! it was fun! 

but heres my week:

Tuesday: we went to our less active members house, and we were able to meet her husband, who works up in the north, then that night we had our ward activity, we playeddd human foosball, and watched the john tanner movie!

Wednesday: we had district meeting and got to know the zone. we went and tried to visit a member real fast to use the bathroom, but he talked and talked, so it was hard to leave! but we finally left and we had another activity that night, it was a parent chile talent show, so because im kinda the àrent of elder mende, we had a talent, we reacted the video of "hello" misisonary parody! haha it was pretty fun!

Thursday: we did some weekly planning, went out to contact some futures and old investigators, then we had another activity, where it was a games night, we almost had an investigator there, but they couldnt come due to having little kids have to go to bed early.. but in that activity, they had an eating contest.. about who can est the fastest, and they realized us missionaries were there.. soo... we had to do it.. my companion ended up beating me, but it was a little unfair, i had a skinny fork, and he had a spoon, and im pretty sure i started with more.. but i lost! oops! but my team ended up winnig anyways! so aha!!

Friday: we went over to that less active hermana that we met her husband, and we talked about teaching him, and he said that yeah hed lik e to! so thats awesome!! haha then we had the last eactivity which we just went to for like 15 mins then left.. 

saturday: not too much happened.. viisited some members we didnt know, some less active members, then talked with one of our investigators to go to church on sunday...

Sunday: we had ward conference, and our bishop is staying bishop, hes already been it for like 9 years, so i guess another doesnt do much.. hhaha we went and setup some appointments with some old investigators and got one new investigator from that...

but thats my week, was a good one, was lots of fun!

Chile ~week70

So this week was a good one...

it was really rainy.. and was really windy... our power went out.. you can all har about it in my voice message!! it was crazy!!! it was soo windy now the church steeple is crooked!! haha
