Chile ~week 17

so this week was pretty, good, cold, windy, rainy, like normal. our baptisms ended up falling, ill explain why in my week... but heres my week:

Tuesday: we had district meeting again! then we went on another intercambio, i went to lebu again with Elder Smith, hes one of our zone leaders. for lunch in lebu we had empanadas and a good soup.. but dad youre going to be jealous, they werent any empanadas, they were CRAB empanadas!! they were pretty good! and this is when we founf out that our baptism was pushed back, because we had one planned with a 10 year old named benjamin, and he drank coffee!! dang kid! so now itll hopefully be this saturday!

Wednesday: Rained a bit, not too much, we ended our intercambio, then that night we went and met with crishna, my baptism. and she suddnly decided to move to santiago to live with her mom, we helped her find a church and everything so she could go! but we were sad that shes leaving!

Thursday: my companion and i have been questioning how to keep ourselves focused in the work and not on other things, we found a scripture in Luke 17:33, which we believe is our answer. and it also rained this day AGAIN! haha benjamin and paola should be able to be baptized together, paola is 21 and was almost baptized a few years ago, but decided not to last minute. so hopefully this saturday!

Friday: literally rained ALL DAY!!! ughh... its hard being wet, and i mean wet, like soaked and cold, ad still having to work, but we recieve more blessing that way! we had a family night with the president of our branch, then we found a big family that lives at the top of a muddy hill, so it was a bit scary walking up and down, never knowing if your going to slip and fall!! haha

Saturday: Recieved another answer, which is kind of like the opposite of our other one, in Helaman 15:9 we went out on splits with someone named nicole who recently returned from the osorno mission, and presidente rozas, who is in the branch presidency. we have investigators named macarena and javier, they truly believe our message, but still dont want to change or go to church, but we will keep working on them. it was a super good day, a day of blessing, it was cloudy all day, but with no rain, and when its cloudy, its warm, so we were pretty warm all day. theres a youth that goes on splits with us a lot, his name is nelson, and he had a good experience with Macarena and javier, because theyre a mom and a son, and thats how he got ba`tized, with his mom, so he has a special bond with them! and its cool to see how excited he gets when we teach them! this day was probably one of the best on my mission!

Sunday: rained basically all day, always does on sundays, so not much people come to church.... and banjamin didnt come to church, so we will see if he can still get baptized, but he should be able to. but yeah it was a good wet day, nothing special really happened.

Today: still raining in the morning... basically it...

Well everyone have a good week!! dont have any more pics to send!
