Chile ~week 21

So this week was good, were staring spring so its gonna be raining a lot more, but it only rains for like 10 mins, then sun for 10 mins, then rian, then sun.... for the whole day, so its kinda annoying!
but i have an update, one of the rules that got changed is not we dont have a time limit to email, so i can do bigger more specific emails to everyone!

Well heres my week!

Monday: was pday of course, my comp was sick still, but we still managed to work, then we had another family home evening and watched meet the mormons again!

Tuesday: We had district meeting, and played the card game mafia. we bought food cause my comp was sick on pday, and we helped some of our best investigators change their point of viewn and understand the age of baptism, the age of accountability. so that was good, we should have a baptism here in the next couple of weeks, if i dont get transferred, im praying i dont! theres so many people here i love!

Wednesday: We were studying the language in the morning, my comp was telling me words and i had ot tell him the word in english, and he accidently said ball pent poin, instead of ball point pen, it was so funny, we were laughing forever, i dont even know why it was so funnny. we made hamburgers(pic attatched) becaue my comp was sick and couldnt eat any more chilean food. but i guess hamburgers werent good for him either, because a little while later he threw it all up, and the worst part was that he missed the toilet. which was gross, he asked me to help him clean it up but i couldnt thats disgusting, and i almost threw up from seeing it and smelling it.. it was nasty...

Thursday: i woke up in the morning, and i had a little itch on my back, so i itched it and felt something, i looked at what it was, there was a SPIDER on my back! it was a little one so it wasnt so bad, and i dont think i got bit which is good. theres a type of spider here that bites you and you die, so thats not good... we had weekly planning, then this day was when the spring started, the rain... sun... rain... sun... etc... then i did an intercambio with Elder Sterri. hes from the U.S. but it was a hard intercambio, because hes newer than i am! so he didnt know like any spanish, so i had to do most of the talking! but we still managed and had a good day!

Friday: i was able to teach elder Sterri 12 weeks training, which was weird cause i was just being taught that lke 3 weeks ago! rained and sun a lot again.  and then this day in my studies i realized something ive never realized before. in the bible where christ says he will make them fishers of men. i never knew what that ment, but i looked at the foot notes and it said missionary work and apostles. i liked that, we go and fish for men, we bring them in like fisherman. so that really caught my attention.

Saturday: We listened to the video Missionary work and the Atonement, which is super good, i encourage all of you to watch it. i was trying to find a good scripture on christ so i was looking, i felt inspired to lookin 2ne, so i flipped there and there was one phrase that was underlined. in 2 ne 20:4. it said and his hand is stretched out still. that was really powerful to me. whenever we mess up or sin, chrst is still reaching out to us! and that made me feel really good and comforted. we ended up talking with a bunch of drunk guys this day, cause they always see us on the street and like to talk to us, they try to tell us weird stuff about religion, theyre really crazy, and theyre literally everywhere!!

Sunday: none of our main investigators came to church. but we had some old investigators come, which was really good because we set up appointments with them and are gonna visit them sometime this week! church here is really weird, they always talk badly about how good the united states are. literally almost every chilean almost worships the us. then at lunch guess what we talked about, the u.s. again! they were talking about gringos and how they look so beautiful! with colored eye and blonde hair! haha. but people here always ask us about the u.s. and the elections, (which by the way how are the elections going?) i havent heard much about them. they always talk bad about trump because they think he said he hates all latinos. the media here is messed up. but back to my day... we had a really powerful lesson where we made our investigators cry, we showed them the missionary work with the atonement video, we felt prompted to show them so they can kind of understand us. they really are super good investigators.

Well that was my week, it was crazy! this weeks gonna be even more crazy! im excited!

Well everyone have a good week!!

Elder Severtson
